Distributed Research in a Virtual Environment: a space for researchers to collaborate and store files within research groups and projects

Researchers from Royal Holloway should login with their usual computer centre username and password.  External researchers will need to create an account before they can be assigned to a Research Space.

To improve the security of our Moodle instances there is a new password policy in place on all local Moodle accounts (accounts created within Moodle rather than using your computer centre username and password).

The password must have at least 8 characters including at least 1 digit(s), at least 1 lower case letter(s), at least 1 upper case letter(s), at least 1 non-alphanumeric character(s).

If you find it difficult thinking of passwords that fit this policy or are struggling how to adapt an existing password these resources on creating strong but memorable passwords may help.
